The Indianapolis Colts announced the signing of free agent WR Tyler Rutenbeck on Monday.
Rutenbeck originally signed on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Dubuque back in May. However, he lasted just over a week with the team before he was later placed on waivers.
During his four years at Dubuque, Rutenbeck caught 163 passes for 2,715 yards receiving and 42 receiving touchdowns.
The Colts are obviously very deep at the receiver position, so Rutenbeck may end up competing for a spot on their practice squad this summer.
