Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy announced Wednesday that QB Andy Dalton and DL Tyrone Crawford will be activated from the COVID-19 list later today.
Both players are expected to suit up for the Cowboys in Week 11.
The Cowboys are also designating OT Brandon Knight to return from injured reserve.
Dalton, 32, is a former second-round pick of the Bengals back in 2011. He was entering the final year of his seven-year, $97.09 million contract, which included $17 million guaranteed when Cincinnati cut him loose.
Dalton stood to make a base salary of $17.5 million in 2020 when the Bengals opted to release him. He signed a one-year deal with the Cowboys back in May.
In 2020, he’s appeared in four games and recorded 52 completions on 85 pass attempts (61.2 percent) for 452 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions.
Crawford, 30, is a former third-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2012. He’s entering the final year of his six-year, $45.675 million contract that included $17.425 million guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $8 million in 2020.
In 2020, Crawford has appeared in nine games for the Cowboys and recorded five tackles and no sacks.
