Cowboys G Connor Williams Out For Season With Torn ACL

Todd Archer of ESPN reports that Cowboys G Connor Williams suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee Thursday against Buffalo and is out for the season.

Dallas is expected to turn to Xavier Su’a-Filo in place of Williams from here on.

You can expect the Cowboys to place him on injured reserve in the coming days and add someone to their roster.

Williams, 22, is a former second-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2018. He’s in the second year of his four-year, $5,488,996 contract with the Cowboys that includes a $2,071,996 signing bonus.

In 2019, Williams appeared in 11 games for the Cowboys and making 11 starts at left guard.
