Cowboys Have Serious Interest In CB Brandon Carr

Pro Football Weekly expects the Dallas Cowboys “go all in for” soon-to-be free agent CB Brandon Carr.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter mentions that the Chiefs will most likely be using their franchise tag on WR Dwayne Bowe which could allow Carr to test the free agent market. Kansas City recently signed CB Stanford Routt so they don’t have to give into Carr’s contract demands necessarily but they have said that they would still like to keep him.

So far the Vikings have also been mentioned as possible suitor for Carr if he becomes available but the Cowboys need to upgrade their secondary as bad as anyone. PFW expects them to address the position first before shopping for other needs like guard.
