Cowboys LB Damien Wilson Arrested For Aggravated Assault With Deadly Weapon

According to Amanda Guerra, Cowboys LB Damien Wilson was looking for a place to park his car at Toyota Stadium and noticed that a gour[ of tailgaters were taking up several parking spaces. Wilson asked if he could park there and an argument broke out.

Guerra adds that Wilson decided to back his truck into a spot and hit a woman before pulling a gun at some point.

According to Lynnanne Nguyen, Cowboys LB Damien Wilson was arrested last night at Toyota Stadium for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Wilson has since posted bond and been released by police.

Drew Davison reports that Wilson was charged with two counts aggravated assault with deadly weapon, which is a second-degree felony and punishable by 2-20 years and $10,000.

The Cowboys are aware of the situation and gathering information regarding Wilson.

Wilson, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2015. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year contract and stands to make base salaries of $615,000 and $705,000 over the remainder of the contract.

In 2016, Wilson appeared in all 16 games for the Cowboys and recorded 34 tackles, a half sack, and a pass defense.
