According to Adam Caplan, the Dallas Cowboys are signing former Texans DT Christian Covington to a one-year deal.

Covington, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Texans back in 2015. He signed a four-year, $2,370,484 contract and made base salaries of $615,000 and $705,000 over the final two years of the agreement.
In 2018, Covington appeared in 12 games for the Texans, recording 12 total tackles and 3.5 sacks. He was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No 44 interior defender out of 112 qualifying players.
