Cowboys Cut K Kai Forbath

According to Field Yates, the Cowboys are releasing K Kai Forbath on Saturday.

Forbath, 32, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2011. Forbath had brief stints with the Buccaneers, Redskins, Saints and Vikings before signing on with the Jaguars in 2018.

Jacksonville released Forbath last year and had a short stay with the Patriots before joining the Cowboys in December. Dallas elected to re-sign him this offseason back in March.

In 2019, Forbath converted 11 of 11 field-goal attempts for the Patriots and Cowboys to go along with 11 of 12 extra-point tries (91.7 percent)
