Cowboys Worked Out DE Ryan Delaire

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Cowboys brought in free agent DE Ryan Delaire for a workout on Friday.

Delaire has recovered from a torn ACL he suffered last year.

According to Rapoport, Delaire may have signed with the Eagles in December of last year had he been able to pass a physical at the time.

Delaire, 26, originally signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of back in May of 2015. He lasted just a few months with the Buccaneers before he was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to the Redskins’ practice squad.

The Panthers signed him to their active roster a few weeks into the 2015 season and he finished out the year in Carolina. Unfortunately, the Panthers waived Delaire in July of last year and wound up missing the entire 2017 season.

In 2016, Delaire appeared in six games for the Panthers and recorded three tackles, one sack and a pass defense.
