Former Washington RB Derrius Guice officially cleared waivers on Sunday and is now a free agent.
Washington announced Friday that they waived Guice following his arrest for domestic violence charges.

Guice was arrested Friday afternoon on domestic violence-related charges that include one felony count of strangulation. He is also facing three counts of assault and battery, as well as one count of destruction of property.
Guice, 23, is a former second-round pick of the Redskins back in 2018. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $4,541,936 contract that includes a $1,383,224 signing bonus.
In 2019, Guice appeared in five games for the Redskins and rushed for 245 yards on 42 carries (5.8 YPC) to go along with seven receptions for 79 yards receiving and three total touchdowns before being placed on injured reserve in December.
