Dolphins Officially Hire Dowell Loggains As Offensive Coordinator

The Miami Dolphins officially announced the hiring of Dowell Loggains as their new offensive coordinator on Friday, as previously reported.

It’s been a few weeks since reports first mentioned that Loggains was going to be joining Adam Gase’s coaching staff in Miami, but the Dolphins wound up doing some restructuring in regards to their staff.

Former Dolphins offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen will remain with the team and transition to director of football and player development.

Loggains, 37, began his NFL coaching career with the Titans as an offensive quality control coordinator back in 2008. He managed to work his way up to offensive coordinator before joining the Browns’ coaching staff in 2014.

After one year with the Browns, Loggains was hired as the Bears QBs coach and eventually promoted to offensive coordinator two years ago.
