The Miami Dolphins officially signed 10 undrafted free agents to contracts on Wednesday.
The full list includes:
- Ole Miss NT Benito Jones
- MTSU DE Tyshun Render
- Iowa State NT Ray Lima
- Arkansas State WR Kirk Merritt
- South Carolina IOL Donell Stanley
- Montana State TE Bryce Sterk
- Kansas State OT Nick Kaltmayer
- Pittsburgh LB Kylan Johnson
- McKendree WR Matt Cole
- Northwestern State OT Jonathan Hubbard
Merritt, 6-0 and 215 pounds, started his college career at Oregon before bouncing around to a few different spots, finally landing at Arkansas State as a slot receiver.
During his two years at Arkansas State, Merritt caught 153 passes for 1,811 yards and 19 touchdowns.
As a senior, he also returned 15 kicks for 415 yards and a touchdown.
Cole was also featured in Sports Illustrated’s “Prospect X” series which profiles one of the draft’s most underrated players each year.
