ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports that the Dolphins have signed former Giants LB Spencer Paysinger to a one-year contract following his visit on Thursday.
Paysinger, 26, signed on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon back in 2011. Last year, the Giants used an original round tender on Paysinger, which paid him a one-year salary of $1.431 million.
In 2014, Paysinger appeared in 15 games recorded 15 total tackles while contributing on special teams for the Giants. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the N0. 16 outside linebacker in a 4-2 defense out of 35 qualifying players.
