Eagles Activate DE Genard Avery From IR, Promote Two

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Monday that they’ve activated DE Genard Avery from injured reserve and promoted TE Caleb Wilson and DT T.Y. McGill to their active roster.

Avery, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Browns back in 2018. He was later traded to the Eagles last year for a 2021 fourth-round pick.

Avery is in the third of a four-year, $2.7 million rookie deal and is set to make a base salary of $660,00 for the 2020 season.

In 2020, Avery has appeared in six games for the Eagles and recorded five tackles, 1.5 sacks and a pass defense.
