Tim McManus of ESPN reports that the Eagles and WR DeSean Jackson agreed to a restructured contract that is expected to be worth $27 million over the course of three seasons.
Jackson receives $13 million guaranteed as part of this newly restructured deal, according to McManus.
Jackson’s old contract was set to make him $10 million for the 2019 season.
In total, the Eagles gave up a 2019 sixth-round pick for Jackson and a 2020 seventh-round selection.
Jackson, 31, is a former second-round pick of the Eagles back in 2008. He spent six years with the Eagles before signing a three-year, $24 million contract with the Redskins back in 2014.
After three years with the Redskins, Jackson once again departed in free agency and agreed to a three-year, $35 million contract that includes $20 million guaranteed with the Buccaneers. He was set to make a base salary of $10 million for the 2019 season.
In 2018, Jackson appeared in 12 games for the Buccaneers and caught 41 passes for 774 yards receiving and four touchdowns. He has also rushed for 29 yards and a touchdown.
