Eagles Hosting Houston DT Ed Oliver & Ohio State WR Parris Campbell

Mike Garafolo reports that the Eagles are hosting Houston DT Ed Oliver and Ohio State WR Parris Campbell for pre-draft visits on Tuesday.

Garafolo notes that while it’s unlikely Oliver falls to the Eagles in round one, they do have two second-round picks to work with this year, which could leave Campbell as a player to watch for them.

Oliver, 21, is a really intriguing prospect, who has tested really well throughout the draft process. There’s even been talk about some teams wanting him to play linebacker at the next level.

Oliver could end up being a top-10 pick when all is said and done.

During his three-year college career at Houston, Oliver recorded 192 tackles, 53 tackles for a loss, 13.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, a recovery and 11 pass defenses over the course of 32 games.

Campbell, 21, figures to be a mid-round pick in this year’s draft. During his four years at Ohio State, Campbell caught 143 passes for 1,768 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns over the course of 43 games. He also rushed for 210 yards on and two touchdowns.

As a kick returner, Campbell totaled 913 yards.
