Reuben Frank of CSN Philly reports that the Eaglesย interviewed formed Raven head coach Brian Billick last Monday in Baltimore for their head coaching vacancy.
Billick, who has not coached since 2007, is considered among the leading candidates for the Eagles’ job. He’s an offensive minded coach, but his Super Bowl winning Ravens were heavily reliant upon their elite defense.ย Billick has a career record ofย 80-64, which includesย four post season appearances and a Super Bowl win.
Philadelphia has already been denied by the likes ofย Bill O’Brien, Chip Kellyย andย Brian Kelly. Other coaches in contention for the job include:ย Falcons DC Mike Nolan,ย Broncos OC Mike McCoy,ย Colts OCย Bruce Arians,ย Lovie Smith,ย Bengals OC Jay Gruden,ย Falconsย ST coordinator Keith Armstrong andย Seahawks DCย Gus Bradley.ย
