Eagles Interview Ex-Ravens Head Coach Brian Billick

Reuben Frank of CSN Philly reports that the Eagles interviewed formed Raven head coach Brian Billick last Monday in Baltimore for their head coaching vacancy.

Billick, who has not coached since 2007, is considered among the leading candidates for the Eagles’ job. He’s an offensive minded coach, but his Super Bowl winning Ravens were heavily reliant upon their elite defense. Billick has a career record of 80-64, which includes four post season appearances and a Super Bowl win.

Philadelphia has already been denied by the likes of Bill O’Brien, Chip Kelly and Brian Kelly. Other coaches in contention for the job include: Falcons DC Mike Nolan, Broncos OC Mike McCoy, Colts OC Bruce Arians, Lovie Smith, Bengals OC Jay Gruden, Falcons ST coordinator Keith Armstrong and Seahawks DC Gus Bradley.
