On Tuesday, Eagles free agent addition Paul Worrilow went down after colliding with a teammate during OTA practice, per Eliot Shorr-Parks.

Worrilow was taken off of the practice field on a cart and an air cast was placed on his knee, per Jeff McLane.

The fact that the team placed an air cast on his leg is a pretty good indication that this is a really serious injury that could lead to him missing the 2018 season.

Worrilow, 28, wound up signing on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Delaware back in 2013. He returned to the Falcons on a one-year, $2.553 million restricted tender back in March of 2016.

The Falcons signed Worrilow to a one-year, $3-million contract in 2016 and was signed by the Lions the next offseason after becoming an unrestricted free agent.

Worrilow finished out a one-year, $3 million deal with the Detroit before signing a one-year contract with the Eagles this offseason.

In 2017, Worrilow appeared in 13 games for the Lions and recorded 30 total tackles, one fumble recovery, and one pass defense.

We’ll have more regarding Worrilow’s injury as the news is available.
