Jim Wyatt of the Tennesseanย reported earlier in the dayย that the Eagles wereย hosting Jones for a visit on Monday.
He also met with the Titans this past weekend, but it appears asย though the Eagles moved quickly to get a deal in place.
Jones, 28, was released in a move that freed upย $3,693,750 in available cap space for Green Bay. Heย signed a three-year, $11.75 million contract with the Packers that included $3 million guaranteed a few years ago.
In 2014, he recorded 18 tackles and a pass defense over the course of 13 games.
