Eagles Sign QB Vince Young

Albert Breer of NFL.com reports that Vince Young has agreed to a one-year contract and adds that the deal should be signed sometime tomorrow.

CBS Sports’ Clark Judge reports that the Philadelphia Eagles have signed Vince Young to backup Michael Vick.

This was rumored to be the case earlier in the day but that was before Kevin Kolb was traded to Arizona and Young was released by Tennessee. Adding Young will give the Eagles a little security in case Vick gets injured this season.

Philly is proven to willing to bring in players that have some upside, especially when they play quarterback.

We’ll have more when the details of the contract are available.
