Eagles Sign Rest Of Their Rookie Class, Including Second-Round QB Jalen Hurts

The Philadelphia Eagles have officially signed second-round pick QB Jalen Hurts to his rookie contract, according to the team. 

Philadelphia announced they’ve also signed the six remaining unsigned players from their rookie class.

Hurts, 21, was a two-year starter at Alabama before transferring and starting at Oklahoma last season. The Eagles selected him with the No. 53 pick in this year’s draft. 

He’s projected to sign a four-year, $6,025,171 rookie contract that includes a $1,941,943 signing bonus. 

During his four-year college career at Alabama and Oklahoma, Hurts recorded 682 completions on 1,047 pass attempts (65.1 percent) for 9,477 yards, 80 touchdowns, and 20 interceptions to go along with 614 rush attempts for 3,274 yards (5.3 YPC) and 43 touchdowns. 

Taylor, 21, was a two-year starter at Colorado and earned an honorable mention for All-Pac 12 honors last season. The Eagles selected him with the No. 103 pick in this year’s draft. 

He’s projected to sign a four-year, $4,499,404 contract that includes an $832,295 signing bonus. 

During his two-year college career, Taylor recorded 129 total tackles, 18 tackles for loss, two sacks, six pass defenses, three fumble recoveries, and scored one defensive touchdown. 

Driscoll, 23, started for two years at Massachusetts before starting two years at Auburn. He was later selected by the Eagles in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

He is expected to sign a four-year rookie contract worth $3,789,401, which includes a signing bonus of $494,401.

During his four-year college career, Driscoll started in 45 of his 46 games and made 37 starts at right tackle, seven starts at left guard, and one start at left tackle.

Hightower, 23, was a two-year starter at Boise State before being selected by the Eagles in the fifth round of the draft.

He is expected to sign a four-year rookie deal worth $3,595,051 that includes a signing bonus of $300,051.

During his two-year career at Boise State, Hightower appeared in 24 games and recorded 82 catches for 1,447 yards (17.6 YPC) and 14 touchdowns.
