The Philadelphia Eagles announced that they’ve signed LB Don Cherry to a contract on Sunday.
- The Eagles also confirmed reports that they’ve signed QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson and S Nick Perry to contracts as well.
Cherry, 21, wound up signing on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Villanova back in May. However, he lasted just over a month in Chicago before the Bears placed him on waivers.
During his four-year college career, Cherry recorded 258 tackles, 14 sacks, seven forced fumbles, two recoveries, one interception and seven pass defenses for the Wildcats.
