Adam Schefter reports that the Eagles are signing former Steelers DT Javon Hargrave to a three-year, $39 million contract with $26 million fully guaranteed.
Hargrave was one of the top interior defensive linemen in this year’s free agent market.
Hargrave, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Steelers back in 2016. He played out the final year of his four-year, $3.11 million contract and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career.
In 2019, Hargrave appeared in all 16 games for the Steelers and recorded 60 tackles, four sacks, and a forced fumble. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 8 interior defensive lineman out of 114 qualifying players.
