According to Mike Kaye, the Eagles have informed WR Marcus Green he will be waived as the team begins roster cuts.
Other roster cuts for the Eagles include:
- RB Michael Warren (Aaron Wilson)
- WR Manasseh Bailey (Adam Caplan)
- WR Deontay Burnett (Dave Zangaro)
- C Luke Juriga (Mike Kaye)
Green has already bounced on and off Philadelphia’s roster a few times this camp and now will wait to see if he can stick on the practice squad.
Green, 23, is a former sixth-round pick by the Falcons in the 2019 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year, $2.7 million rookie contract but was waived and signed to Atlanta’s practice squad coming out of the preseason.
The Eagles signed him to their practice squad a few days later. Philadelphia re-signed him to a futures deal this offseason but cut him loose two weeks ago.
He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
During his college career at UL-Monroe, Green appeared recorded 202 receptions for 2,698 yards receiving (13.4 YPC) and 23 touchdowns, to go along with 51 rushing attempts for 492 yards (9.6 YPC) and one touchdown.
