Eagles Worked Out Four Players Including S Robert Golden

According to Howard Balzer, the Philadelphia Eagles brought in four free agents for tryouts on Monday including S Robert Golden, S Charlie Miller, LB Dewey McDonald, and LB Hayes Pullard.

Golden, 28, wound up signing on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract before signing a three-year, $5 million contract with the Steelers in 2016.

The Steelers elected to cut Golden loose in March and he later signed on with the Chiefs. Unfortunately, Kansas City released him during the preseason.

In 2017, Golden appeared in all 16 games for the Steelers and recorded 19 tackles, one interception and a five pass defenses.
