Ian Rapoport reports that North Carolina TE Eric Ebron is visiting with the the Lions on Monday.
Interestingly enough, Rapoport adds that the Lions will also host South Carolina DE Jadeveon Clowney as well.
It’s a little surprising to see the Lions bring in Clowney for a visit given that they currently hold the No. 10 overall pick. Detroit would almost certainly have to trade up to secure Clowney, but there is at least a chance that Ebron could be an option for them in round one.
Previous reports mentioned that Ebron also has visit lined up the Ravens and Panthers this month, and has already visited with the Bills.
The Steelers, Jets and Packers have also been popular landing spots for Ebron in mock drafts around the league, but it’s hard to say if he’ll make that far.
