Falcons Sign DT Tyeler Davison To Three-Year Deal

Update:

The Atlanta Falcons have officially agreed to a three-year extension with DT Tyeler Davison on Sunday.

Vaughn McClure of ESPN reports that the Falcons and defensive tackle Tyeler Davison are close to an extension that would keep him Atlanta for the next three seasons.

Davison, 27, was a fifth-round draft pick by the Saints in 2015 out of Fresno State. He played out the final year of his four-year rookie contract before agreeing to a one-year contract with the Falcons last year.

Davison was once again in line to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

In 2019, Davison appeared in all 16 games for the Falcons and recorded 55 tackles, one sack, and a fumble recovery. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 52 receiver out of 114 qualifying players.
