Falcons To Interview Darrell Bevell & Ken Dorsey For QBs Coach Position

According to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Falcons are set to interview former Seahawks OC Darrell Bevell and former Panthers QBs coach Ken Dorsey for their QBs coach position.

Bevell was linked to the Bears in recent days, but it appears as though they won’t be hiring him at this time.

Bevell, 48, began his NFL coaching career with the Packers as an assistant quarterbacks coach in 2000. He eventually worked his way up to QBs coach before being hired by the Vikings as their offensive coordinator in 2006.

After five years in Minnesota, Bevell signed on with the Seahawks for the 2011 season and spent the past seven years in Seattle before he was recently fired.

In 2017, the Seahawks’ offense was No. 15 in total yards, No. 11 in points scored, No. 23 in yards rushing and No. 14 in passing offense.
