The Atlanta Falcons announced Saturday that they’ve promoted WR Marvin Hall to their active roster and waived RB Brian Hill.
Hall, 24, originally signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Washington back in May of last year. He was waived at the start of the season and later signed to the Cardinals’ practice squad towards the end of the season.
Arizona brought him back on a future/reserve contract this past January only to cut him loose a few weeks after the draft. The Falcons signed him to a contract in June before waiving him and later adding him to their practice squad at the start of the season.
During his college career at Washington, Hall caught 25 passes for 409 yards receiving and one touchdown over the course of 28 games. He also contributed 357 kick return yards and 105 punt return yards during his four years at Washington.
