Falcons Re-Sign RFA LB Paul Worrilow

The Atlanta Falcons have already announced that they’ve re-signed RFA LB Paul Worrilow.

Vaughn McClure of ESPN reports that Falcons restricted free agent LB Paul Worrilow officially signed his one year, $2.553 million tender this morning.

The Falcons also used a a second-round tender on restricted free agent RT Ryan Schraeder in recent weeks, but he’s yet to sign the offer.

Worrilow, 25, wound up signing on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Delaware back in 2013. He will be an unrestricted free agent next year and a candidate for a long-term extension in 2016.

In 2015, Worrilow appeared in 15 games and recorded 97 tackles, two interceptions, a forced fumble, a recovery and four pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 80 linebacker out of 97 qualifying players.
