The Falcons announced that restricted free agent RB Brian Hill officially signed his one-year tender for the 2020 season.
Atlanta placed the original-round tender on Hill last month, which will cost them $2.133 million.
Hill, 24, is a former fifth-round by the Falcons in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Wyoming. He signed a four-year, $2.66 million contract but was added to their practice squad his rookie season.
The Bengals claimed him off Atlanta’s taxi squad in 2017 but was cut loose the following preseason. He re-signed with the Falcons’ practice squad in September of 2018 and was quickly promoted to their active roster.
In 2019, Hill appeared in 12 games for the Falcons and recorded 78 rushing attempts for 323 yards (4.1 YPC) and two touchdowns.
