The Falcons brought Beavers in for a visit on Tuesday and had open positions on their practice squad.
Beavers, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2016. He signed a four-year, $2.87 million contract with the team but wound up being among their final roster cuts a few months later.
Beavers was on and off of the Vikings’ practice squad and had a brief stint with the Seahawks before the Bears signed him to their practice squad in November of 2018.
The Bears signed him to a futures deal in early 2019 but was waived a few months later and claimed by the 49ers. San Francisco wound up cutting him loose in August of last year.
In 2016, Beavers was active for two games while playing for the Vikings.
