The Atlanta Falcons announced that they’ve signed S Sergio Brown to a contract and placed K Nick Rose on waivers.
- The Falcons also re-signed veteran K Shayne Graham.
Brown, 28, originally signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Notre Dame back in 2010. He lasted just over two years in New England before he was waived at the start of the 2012 season and later claimed off of waivers by the Colts.
The Jaguars elected to sign him to a three-year contract in May of last year before releasing him this past April in a move that freed up $2,250,000 in available cap space.
In 2015, Brown appeared in 15 games for the Jaguars and recorded 37 tackles, 1.5 sacks, no interceptions and two pass defenses.
