Falcons Sign Second-Round Draft Pick CB/S Jalen Collins

According to Vaughn McClure, the Falcons signed their second-round pick CB/S Jalen Collins out of LSU.

Collins is the second member of Atlanta’s class to sign, following DT Grady Jarrett.

Overthecap.com projects Collins’ four-year deal to include $5,603,602 total, with a signing bonus of $2,335,348.

Collins is a versatile and skilled player, despite not being the most productive player in college.  Atlanta is stronger at cornerback than they are at safety, so Collins could get a look there.

Collins only recorded three interceptions in three years at LSU.
