Falcons Waive OL Austin Pasztor To Make Room For DE Bruce Irvin

The Atlanta Falcons announced Thursday that they’ve waived veteran OLĀ Austin Pasztor to make room for DE Bruce Irvin, who has signed a one-year contract with the team.

Pasztor, 27, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2012. He lasted just a few months in Minnesota before the Jaguars signed him to their practice squad.

The Browns claimed Pasztor off of waivers from the Jaguars at the start of the 2015 season and brought him back on a one-year exclusive rights contract. He signed with the Falcons as an unrestricted free agent in August of last year.

The Falcons elected to re-sign Pasztor to a one-year $880,00 deal back in MarchĀ but wound up waiving him at the end of the preseason. He returned to the Falcons a few weeks ago.

In 2017, Pasztor appeared in seven games for the Falcons.
