Former Colts CB Loucheiz Purifoy Suspended 4 Games, Will Carry Over Into 2015

Howard Balzer of LockerDome.com reports that free agent CB Loucheiz Purifoy has been suspended for four games.

Balzer doesnโ€™t say what Purifoy was suspended for specifically, but he adds that the cornerbackโ€™s ban took effect Friday, which means he will be ineligible for first two games of 2015 season.

The Seahawks claimed Purifoy off of waivers close to a month ago after the Colts cut him to make room for CB Jalil Brown

However, Seahawks HC Pete Carroll announced a few days later that Purifoy did not pass his physical.

Purifoy, 21, was a priority undrafted free agent signing of the Colts. He has appeared in 11 games this season and recorded seven tackles, a forced fumble and a pass defense.

Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 48 snaps this season.
