Former Colts CB Loucheiz Purifoy Suspended 4 Games, Will Carry Over Into 2015

Howard Balzer of LockerDome.com reports that free agent CB Loucheiz Purifoy has been suspended for four games.

Balzer doesn’t say what Purifoy was suspended for specifically, but he adds that the cornerback’s ban took effect Friday, which means he will be ineligible for first two games of 2015 season.

The Seahawks claimed Purifoy off of waivers close to a month ago after the Colts cut him to make room for CB Jalil Brown

However, Seahawks HC Pete Carroll announced a few days later that Purifoy did not pass his physical.

Purifoy, 21, was a priority undrafted free agent signing of the Colts. He has appeared in 11 games this season and recorded seven tackles, a forced fumble and a pass defense.

Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 48 snaps this season.
