Former Colts LB Pat Angerer Retiring From The NFL

Former Colts LB Pat Angerer announced via his Twitter account Tuesday that he’s retiring from the NFL.

Angerer, 27, was selected by the Colts in the second-round draft of the 2010 NFL Draft. He signed on with the Falcons a few months ago, but was unfortunately among their final roster cuts.

Since then Angerer had worked out for the Rams, Jets and Saints, but there wasn’t any indication that he would be signed to a contract.

Angerer spent four years with the Colts and recorded 184 tackles, 2.5 sacks, two interceptions, four forced fumbles, one recovery and eight pass defenses over the course of 54 games.
