Former Falcons WR Roddy White Officially Retires From NFL

On Friday, long-time Falcons WR Roddy White announced that he’s officially retired from the NFL.

White 35, is a former first-round pick of the Falcons back in 2005. He spent his entire 11-year NFL career with the Falcons.

Atlanta elected to release him last year and didn’t find much reported interest as a free agent and ultimately sat out the entire 2016 season.

For his career, White caught 808 passes for 10,863 yards receiving and 63 touchdowns for the Falcons over the course of 171 games. He was a four-time Pro Bowler and a first-team All-Pro during the 2010 season.
