Former Titans RB Antonio Andrews Pleads Guilty To Assault Charge

According to USA Today, former Titans RB Antonio Andrews pleaded guilty to an assault charge Thursday for punching a man who allegedly directed a racial slur at him.

Andrews was sentenced to six months on probation. He can have this charge expunged or erased from his record if he completes the probation without issue.

A violation of Andrew’ probation would result in jail time.

Andrews will have pay more than $10,000 to cover the victim’s medical expenses.

Andrews, 24, wound up signing on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky back in 2014. Andrews returned to the Titans on an exclusive rights contract last year and is currently a free agent.

In 2016, Andrews appeared in all 16 games for the Titans but was limited to two carries and 15 yards rushing and no touchdowns. He added another 37 kick return yards.
