Four Teams Have Expressed Trade Interest In Ravens K Kaare Vedvik

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that “at least four teams” have called to the Ravens to express trade interest in K Kaare Vedvik

According to Schefter, at least two NFC North teams are among this group.

Schefter adds that the Ravens don’t have to do anything in the short term, but will trade Vedvik at some point this summer.

Reports from Saturday mentioned that the Jets and Bears have interest in Vedvik, but it’s more likely the Bears will trade for him than the Jets.

Vedvik, 25, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Marshall back in May of last year. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $570,000 for the 2019 season.

The Ravens placed him on the non-football injury list last year with a head injury.

During his college career at Marshall, Vedvik converted 10 of 16 field goal attempts (62.5 percent) to go along with 41 of 42 extra point tries (97.6 percent) over the course of 26 games.
