Free Agent WR Da’Rick Rogers Suspended Two Games

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that free agent WR Da’Rick Rogers has been suspended for the first two games of the 2015 season. Although, Rapoport doesn’t say what the suspension is for.

Rapoport adds that this is likely the reason why Rogers is still a free agent, so there’s a chance that teams could show some interest in him once he’s served his suspension.

Rogers, 23,  wound up going undrafted out of Tennessee Tech last year. The Colts took a chance on him, despite some of the issues that led to him transferring out of Tennessee.

However, his stay in Indianapolis lasted a little over a year as he was placed on waivers this past September following a DUI arrest. The Chiefs signed him to a contract back in January only to release him a few months ago.

Last year, Rogers appeared in five games during his rookie season and caught 14 passes for 192 yards receiving and two touchdowns during his rookie season.
