The New York Giants are activating OLB Kyler Fackrell and CB Madre Harper from their injured reserve to the active roster on Saturday, according to Art Stapleton.
New York also placed FB Eli Penny on injured reserve, promoted K/P Ryan Santoso from the practice squad, and waived QB Joe Webb in corresponding moves.
The Giants recently designated Fackrell as a player to return from injured reserve. (NFLTR)
Fackrell, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Packers back in 2016. He played out the final year of his four-year, $3.1 million contract and signed a one-year, $4.6 million deal with the Giants this past offseason.
In 2020, Fackrell has appeared in 11 games for the Giants and recorded 31 tackles, three sacks, one forced fumble, one interception returned for a touchdown and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 87 edge rusher out of 111 qualifying players.
