Vacchiano’s sources added that they aren’t aware of any plans Odighizuwa has decided to walk away from the NFL.

Giants DE Owa Odighizuwa seems to indicate via his Twitter account Monday that he’s stepping away from the NFL.

Odighizuwa, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Giants back in 2015. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $3.16 million rookie contract that included a $740,500 signing bonus and stands to make base salaries of $615,000 and $705,000 over the final two years of the agreement.

In 2016, Odighizuwa appeared in 14 games for the Giants and recorded three tackles, no sacks and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 170 total snaps last season.

We’ll have more regarding Odighizuwa as the news is available.
