Giants Interested In Chiefs WR Demarcus Robinson In Free Agency

According to Matt Lombardo, the Giants are expected to target Chiefs WR Demarcus Robinson as a free agent this offseason.

Robinson just finished the final year of his contract and will be an unrestricted free agent in March. With other needs like extensions for QB Patrick Mahomes and DT Chris Jones, Kansas City is expected to let him walk.

Given how sparse the free-agent wide receiver market is most years, Robinson should garner some attention. Other teams that have been linked to him include the Raiders and Eagles.

Robinson, 25, was drafted in the fourth round out of Florida by the Chiefs in 2016. He signed a four-year rookie deal worth $2.85 million and made a base salary of $720,000 in 2019.

In 2019, Robinson appeared in all 16 games for the Chiefs and caught 32 passes for 449 yards (14.0 YPC) and four touchdowns.
