Giants Place CB Brandon Williams On Injured Reserve

The New York Giants announced Wednesday that they’ve placed CB Brandon Williams on injured reserve.

Williams, 27, is a former third-round pick by the Cardinals in the 2016 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M. He was entering the final year of his four-year rookie contract when Arizona waived him with an injury designation.

The Giants signed Williams to a contract in August. He has appeared in two games for new York this season.

In 2018, Williams appeared in all 16 games for the Cardinals and recorded 15 total tackles, two pass defenses, and no interceptions to go along with 192 kickoff return yards.
