Giants RB Saquon Barkley was named the Associated Press 2018 Offensive Rookie of the Year Saturday night at the NFL Honors show.

Here are the vote totals for offensive rookie of the year:
- Saquon Barkley — 26.5
- Baker Mayfield — 21.5
- Quenton Nelson — 2
Barkley, 21, was taken with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Giants. Barkley finished the first year of his four-year, $31,321,752 rookie contract that included a $20,859,456 signing bonus.
The contract includes a fifth-year option for the Giants to pick up in 2021.
In 2018, Barkley appeared in all 16 games for the Giants and recorded 261 rushing attempts for 1,307 yards (5.0 YPC) and 11 touchdowns to go along with 91 receptions for 721 yards receiving (7.9 YPC) and four touchdowns. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 3 overall running back out of 62 qualifying players.
