Jordan Raanan of ESPN reports that the Giants re-signed exclusive rights free agent TE Matt LaCosse on Monday.
A report surfaced yesterday that the Giants will not re-sign TE Larry Donnell, as this could be one reason for New York moving on from Donnell.
LaCosse eventually returned to the Giants when he signed to their practice squad in November of 2015 and was promoted to their active roster towards the end of the season.
Unfortunately, LaCosse missed the entire 2016 season due to a knee injury.
In 2015, LaCosse appeared in two games for the Giants and caught three passes for 22 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
