Giants Re-Sign LB Tuzar Skipper To Practice Squad

The New York Giants officially re-signed LB Tuzar Skipper to their practice squad on Thursday.

Here’s the Giants updated practice squad:

  1. DT Chris Slayton
  2. OL Evan Brown
  3. WR Reggie White Jr
  4. DL Freedom Akinmoladun
  5. LB Jake Carlock
  6. CB Corn Elder
  7. WR David Sills
  8. WR Da’Mari Scott
  9. RB Jon Hilliman
  10. OLB Tuzar Skipper

Skipper, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Toledo back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Steelers and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.

However, Pittsburgh waived Skipper coming out of the preseason and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Giants.

In 2019, Skipper has appeared in six games for the Giants and recorded three tackles, a half sack and a fumble recovery.

During his college career at Toledo, Skipper recorded 90 tackles, 9.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, two recoveries and a defensive touchdown over the course of three seasons and 24 games.
