Russell Shepard announced via his Instagram account on Wednesday that he’s re-signed with the Giants.
- Pat Leonard reports that Shepard receives a one-year contract from the Giants.
Shepard, 28, wound up signing on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of LSU back in 2013. He lasted just a few months with the Eagles before he was waived and later claimed by the Buccaneers.
The Panthers later signed Shepard to a three-year, $10 million contract for the 2017 season only to cut him loose the following years. Shepard signed on with the Giants last May.
In 2018, Shepard appeared in 12 games for the Giants and caught 10 passes for 188 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
